Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) is conducted by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, on behalf of the West Bengal Government. It is an entrance test mainly for the aspirants who want to seek admissions into MBA/PGDM programmes offered by the government and the private colleges across West Bengal.

JEMAT 2021 Exam Pattern
JEMAT consist of 100 multiple-choice questions which have to be attempted in 120 minutes. The questions will be from Mathematics, General English and Logical Reasoning.
The division of questions for each subject is listed in the table below:

NOTE:
- The type of exam is Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
- And, the subjects involved in the exam are General English, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning.
- The General English and Mathematics carries 40 Marks for 40 Questions.
- And, the Logical Reasoning carries 20 Questions for 20 Marks.
- Total number of Questions/ Marks are 100 Marks/ 100 Questions.
- The time limit for the exam is 2 Hours (120 Minutes).
JEMAT 2021 Marking Scheme
Candidates who will be appearing in JEMAT 2021 must know the marking pattern of the examination.
- The total mark of the question paper is 100.
- 1 mark will be awarded to candidates for every accurate answer.
- They will be penalized 1/4th of their mark for every inaccurate answer. Therefore, if candidates are not 100 % sure about any answer, they should rather not attempt the question.

Candidates must practice these topics to score well in this section. 20 % of the total marks of the examination are from this section. The questions of logical reasoning are quite tricky. The intelligence of candidates is tested through this section. Regular practice can help candidates score high marks in logical reasoning.
JEMAT 2021 Result
JEMAT-I 2021 results will be announced on the JEMAT-I website and will be available on the JEMAT-I Online Application Website. After the declaration of the results, score Cards can be downloaded from the website. Selected candidates will be called for GD/PI, followed by counselling. The date and venue for the GD/PI will be announced on the JEMAT-I website after the declaration of the results.
JEMAT 2021 Counselling
The counselling will be done for the selected candidates only, who have qualified the JEMAT 2021, the candidates will have to appear in the Group Discussion, Personal Interview round and the final round of document verification. The JEMAT counselling will be the final round for the selection of the candidates as per the JEMAT listed colleges.
The counselling fee and process is given below:
- Counselling fee: Candidates enlisted in the merit list will have to pay a counselling fee of INR 500 at the time of Counselling.
- Counselling process: Counselling consists of the following phases: General Discussion/ Personal Interview. The candidates have to be on the day of counselling and no date change will be provided.
The counselling round will be followed by the colleges as per the steps given below:
Group Discussion:
In the group discussion round of JEMAT counselling the candidates will be given a topic on which they will have to speak in the group.
The counselling panel will judge the abilities and skills of the members as per the eligibility criteria of the colleges. The JEMAT conducting body will set some parameters for the selection of the candidates. The shortlisted candidates of the group discussion will be called up for the personal interview round by the listed colleges.
Personal Interview:
The personal interview round will be conducted by the interview panel authorized by the University.
The Interview panel will ask the candidates the questions as per their selection criteria. In the interview round the candidates will be called individually by the panel. This round will be the final round to get selected for admission in the listed college of the University.
Documents required for Counselling
The Candidates are required to bring certain documents with them while appearing for counselling. These documents must match to the information given by the participants while filling the application form
