NMIMS NPAT Eligibility Criteria 2021
Candidates from different educational backgrounds can apply for NMIMS NPAT 2021.
- For NPAT-BBA, the candidate must be at least 12th pass (any stream) from a recognized board. Open or distance learning is also inclusive in it if it is recognized by the National Institute of open schooling (NIOS).
- Candidates must clear class 12th and should possess a Baccalaureate diploma in Science and Mathematics. Candidates looking for admission for BBA and BSc.
Finance should have 50% marks and for BCom (H) candidates should have 60% marks.
NMIMS NPAT Exam Pattern 2021
NMIMS NPAT Exam Patter is different Engineering and Non-Engineering Programs.
Paper I Pattern
NMIMS NPAT exam is conducted every year for admission into NMIMS institutes. It is conducted only in online mode. There are only multiple-choice questions in the exam. No special type of questions is there.
- A total of 120 questions makes up the paper I.
- It is divided into three sections.
- They are- Quantitative and Numerical Ability, Reasoning & General Intelligence and Proficiency in the English Language.
- There are 40 questions in each section.
- The medium of the NMIMS NPAT paper is English.

Paper II Pattern
There is a Paper II for students taking admission into B.Design. The info is given below:
- It has three sections- Spatial Ability and Visualization Skills, Observation & Problem Solving and General Awareness & Design Sensibility.
- There is total of 60 questions, each section contains 20 problems.
- 90 Minutes are given to solve the paper.

Marking Scheme
- Each correct response will be get +1 mark
- No marks will be deducted in case of incorrect response. There is no negative marking.

Reasoning & General Intelligence

This section will be based on the following sub-topics:
- Vocabulary: Candidates will have to understand the meaning of the underlined words in the given sentences.
- Reading Comprehension: In this part, candidates are required to interpret ideas, themes and characters. They also need to get the idea and information. There will be three passages of about 400 to 500 words and each passage will have five questions.
- Error Spotting: They will have to recognize the grammatical errors and their correct usage in the sentences
- Sequencing: Candidates will have to arrange the jumbled sentences in order.
- Grammar: Usage of prepositions, determiners and tenses appropriately.
Quantitative and Numerical Ability

- Trigonometry – In this section, questions will be based on – Height and Distances, Identities and Trigonometric Ratios.
- Elementary Statistics and Probability –The important topics of this section are – Mean, Mode, and Median and Measures of Dispersion
