AP LAWCET Examination 2021 is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Board of Higher Education for admissions into LLB and LLM courses. The exam is conducted in an online Computer Based Test format with multiple-choice questions.

Test mode for a duration of 90 minutes and the test language is English and Telugu for both five-year LLB and three-year LLB courses. The subjects that make up the AP LAWCET syllabus are General Knowledge, Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Legal Aptitude.

AP LAWCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admissions to law courses on the basis of AP LAWCET exam need to fulfil the eligibility criteria as under:

Course level Eligibility Criteria 
Five-year Integrated LLB course · Candidates should have completed their two-year Intermediate examination/ Class 12th or equivalent from a recognised university or Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh

· They should have secured at least 45% marks in Class 12th examination.

· Those belonging to the BC category need to have at least 42% marks and those belonging to SC/ ST category need to have at least 40% marks in the qualifying exam.

Three-year LLB course · Candidates should have completed their graduation or postgraduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university

· The minimum qualifying marks for general category candidates are 45%, for BC category are 42% marks and for SC/ ST category candidates, the qualifying marks are 40%/.
