ACLAT 2021 Syllabus – Download Subject Wise Syllabus Now

Alliance Common Law Admission Test (ACLAT) is conducted by Alliance University for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate courses in law like BBA LLB, BA LLB, LLM, and Ph.D. The exam is conducted in both online as well as offline modes.

The test will be conducted for two hours and will consist of multiple-choice type questions. The candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit cum preference criteria. Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear in the personal interview round which is likely to be held at the campus of the university.

ACLAT 2021- Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the qualifying requirements for admission to Alliance University for:

BA LLB programme

  • Candidates will be eligible for admission if they have passed the 10+2 or comparable exams with a minimum of 45 percent marks from a well-known Board.
  • Candidates in the General category must score 45 percent, while those in the SC/ST category must only score 40 percent.

Eligibility for BBA LLB

Those seeking admission to BBA LLB must first meet the eligibility requirements, after which they will be allowed to enrol in the programme of their choice.

  • Candidates must pass a 10+2 or comparable exam from a recognised Board or Institution with a qualifying exam score of 45 percent.
  • Candidates in the General division must earn a total of 45 percent, while those in the SC/ST division must earn a total of 40 percent.

For PhD in Law

For PhD in Law candidates need to have an LLM degree.

ACLAT 2021 Selection Process

The selection process of ACLAT 2021 is given below:

  1. Preliminary Round:

The selection of the candidates will be based on their score in LSAT/ CLAT or ACLAT.

  1. Personal Interview (PI):

All shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview for final selection. The academic performance of the candidates will be taken into consideration during the final selection.

Alliance University Personal Interview

After the declaration of the result. The university will make a merit list consisting of the names and ranks of the candidates in the decreasing order of marks. The merit list will be used to call the candidates for appearing in the personal interview.

The ACLAT or AUSAT interview is a personality assessment test in which the interview panel may ask questions ranging from education, careers objectives etc.

ACLAT 2021 Counselling Details

  • Candidates are selected on the basis of ACLAT 2021 and Personal Interview for admissions.
  • The counselling is conducted in offline mode only.
  • A merit list is prepared on the basis of overall marks of ACLAT 2021 and Personal Interview.

ACLAT Result 2021

The university will declare the result of ACLAT 2021 soon after the test. ACLAT result will be declared in online mode at the official website. Candidates will be able to download the result of ACLAT 2021 by logging into their registered account.
