Allahabad University LAT 2021: Eligibility Criteria
For being eligible to appear for LAT 2021, aspiring candidates are needed to meet the following minimum eligibility criteria.
Educational Qualification
- Successful completion of graduation from a recognized institute.
- A minimum aggregate score of 45% at the level of graduation ((42% for OBC candidates, 40% for SC/ST candidates)
- English as one of the main subjects of study at the 10+2 level.
- Candidates appearing for the final year graduation examinations are also eligible to apply for LAT 2021.
- As per the Bar Council of India, candidates having completed graduation via the distance mode of education will not be allowed to take the LAT 2021.

Allahabad University LAT 2021 Entrance Test will be pencil & paper-based.

LAT 2021 Syllabus

PART- I: Language Comprehension
This part shall consist of two sections. Covering Hindi Language Comprehension and English Language Comprehension.
The paper has passages for comprehension, synonyms, antonyms, homonyms, words commonly confused, vocabulary, one-word substitution, spellings, idioms, phrases, syntax, grammar, knowledge of proverbs, figures of speech, legal terms and precis writing.
They are required to be reasonably proficient in their knowledge of English Language.
PART-II: General Awareness & Current Affairs syllabus of LAT 2021
General Awareness about the facts relating to Indian & World History/Geography/Environment/Indian Culture; Indian National Movement/ Science & Technology, Contemporary National/Regional/International Political & Economic Perspectives; International Organizations/Treaties etc. along with questions on GK of traditional nature.
PART-III: Reasoning, Mental Ability and Legal Aptitude LAT Syllabus 2021
Mental Ability and Logical/Mathematical analysis, odd-even discretion, deductive reasoning, classification, logical fallacy, analogy, syllogism, Agreement and disagreement to judge the bent of mind of candidates. The question in legal Aptitude is related with constitution/legal system; constitutional/legal principles and practice etc.

LAT 2021 Results
Results of LAT 2021 Exam will be declared on the portal of Allahabad University.
The candidates can check the merit list by login Id and password. Those who will qualify the exam will be called for the counselling process for documentation.
Every candidate can view his/her Answer Sheet within one month of declaration of Results by paying an amount of Rs. 100/- at Pravesh Bhawan. The authority will not send the scorecard via post.
Allahabad University LAT 2021 – Counselling
- Shortlisted: Candidates who have been shortlisted based on the merit list will be called for further counselling process which will be conducted in the Allahabad University on the specified date.
- Counselling Procedure: The counselling procedure will consist of Verification of Entrance Exam Score/ Rank, Seat Allotment and Document Verification.
- Required Documents: A candidate who is Selected or Waiting list, while appearing for admission process must bring with him his Admit Card, Required Photographs, Requisite Fee, and the original and Self-attested photocopies of all those marks sheets/ certificates which are required to be attached along with the Admission Application Form. Admission shall not be given to the candidates in the absence of any of these required documents.
