Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET), is a state-level exam conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. It is conducted every year to recruit candidates for the post of Assistant Professors or Lecturers in the state degree colleges and universities to the Andhra University.
Aspirants need to appear for the exam in offline mode. Candidates qualifying the recruitment exam will be eligible for appointment to the post of lecturer in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

APSET 2021 consist of two papers:
- Paper I
- It will be common for all the candidates.
- There will be a 50 objective questions, each carrying 2 marks.
- Duration of paper- 1 is 1 hour.
- Paper-II
- It will include the following subjects- commerce, economics, education, history, political science, public administration and sociology.
- There are 100 questions, each of 2 marks in this section.
- Paper-2 is for 2 hours.
