Assam Police Sub-Inspector Exam 2021 is conducted by Office of The Chairman, State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam for recruitment of Sub- Inspector (UB) of police.
Candidates need to appear for a written exam, extra-curricular activities, computer proficiency and physical efficiency test to qualify the exam.

Selection Process:
Eligibility requirement varies as per the post. In some, Intermediate is enough to apply. While in others, Graduation is the minimum criteria. Following are stages for the selection process:
- Physical Measurements Test (PMT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Medical Examination
- Interview/Document Verification
Assam Police SI- Exam Pattern
Assam Police Written Test Pattern:
- The written test consists of 100 marks and will be completely OMR based.
- There will be 100 questions, and each question will be of 1 (one) mark.
- There is negative marking of ½ marks for each wrong answer.
- The questions will be set in three parts that are Logical reasoning, aptitude, comprehension, Matters relating to History and Culture of Assam and India and General Knowledge.
- Candidates will use black ball pen to answer the OMR based answer sheet.
- Duration of the test will be of 3 (three) hours.

Assam Police SI- Physical Exam
Candidates whose Sub Inspector Exam Applications are found correct in all respect can undergo the Physical Standards Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET).
The Assam Police Department conducts the Physical Standard Test as well as the Physical Efficiency Test to meet with their prescribed recruitment requirements. A Candidate who will qualify the PET/PST, only he/she can proceed further with the next stage of examinations.
