Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test (CGPET 2021) is conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB). CG PET is a State Level Entrance Exam conducted once every year for B.Tech admissions across the State Engineering Colleges.
There are 3 courses available through this exam which are Engineering, Dairy Technology and Agricultural Engineering. The exam will be delivered at around 41 participating institutes in the state of Chhattisgarh.
There will be a total of 150 objective-type questions in the exam. 50 questions each from section- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will be asked. The exam will be of 150 marks.

CGPET 2021 Eligibility
The common eligibility criteria for all courses are:
- Applicant must be a citizen of India
- The applicant should be a resident of Chhattisgarh and should have domicile of the state.
There are 3 courses that are offered. The eligibility criteria for different courses are given below:
For Engineering:
- Candidates must have cleared 12th grade from school affiliated to Chhattisgarh or equivalent board.
- The student must qualify in Physics, chemistry, mathematics and one of the technical vocational subjects in the qualifying exam.
- Minimum marks for the general category are 45% an40% for reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PH)
For Agricultural Engineering:
- Candidates must be above 16 years of age on 31st December of the admission year.
- He/she must have cleared 12th grade from school affiliated to Chhattisgarh or equivalent board.
- Minimum marks for the general category is 50%(PCM+ English) an40% for reserved category(SC/ST/OBC/PH)
- Candidates appearing for final exams are also eligible to apply for the exam.
For Dairy Technology:
- Candidate must be above 17 years of age on 31st December 2021
- Applicant must have cleared 12th grade from school affiliated to Chhattisgarhi or equivalent board.
- Minimum marks for the general category is 50%(PCM+ English) an40% for reserved category(SC/ST/OBC/PH)
- Candidates appearing for final exams are also eligible to apply for the exam.
Chhattisgarh PET Exam Pattern 2021
The exam pattern is simple. It is based on the objective type question paper and comprises of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
It is no negative marking for the wrong answer. There are overall 150 questions that applicants need to complete in the duration of 3 hours.

CG PET 2021 Result
CG PET 2021 Result will be released in the 1st week of July 2021 tentatively by Chhattisgarh Professional Exam Board (CPEB) through Online mode.
The candidates will be called for counselling and further admission rounds on the basis of this result only.
