North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology Entrance Exam (NERIST NEE 2021) is conducted by North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST).
It is a state-level exam conducted in for Certificate, Diploma and Degree Courses in Technology. NEE 2021 will be an online (Computer-Based Test). The exam will consist of 150 marks worth of objective type questions to be solved in 3 hours or 180 minutes.

The exam pattern of NERIST NEE 2021 is as follows:
NEE 1
NEE 1 exam consists of one paper with objective type questions that have total marks of up to 150. The duration of the paper is 3 hours. The details of the paper are as follows:
- Exam will comprise 125 questions to be marked out of 150 marks
- The questions are of objective type
- The question will be graded at 1 mark and 2 marks
- Candidates will be penalized with .25 marks for every wrong answer

This exam is set in three papers for the two different streams :
- 10+2 PCM/PCB/PCMB
- 10+2 Vocational subjects (Forestry)
- 10+2 Vocational subjects (Technology)

Section A is divided into 3 subdivisions as shown in the table above, namely A1, A2 and A3. The total marks is of 70 with Mathematics being 30 and 20 marks each for Physics and Chemistry subjects.
