OJEE Syllabus 2021 – Download Section Wise Pdf

Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE) is conducted by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board (OJEEB) for getting admission to Undergraduate/ Postgraduate Level Professional Courses into the top Private and Government Institutions of Odisha.

OJEE is a state-level government-controlled centralized examination, that will be conducted in all major cities across India.

It is a computer-based Test (CBT) Conducted for admission into various courses like B. Tech, BDS, B. Pharm, B. Arch, MBA, MCA, PGDM, etc. There will be a total of five sections which are: verbal reasoning, analytical reasoning, general knowledge, comprehension, and computer & business fundamentals.

OJEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria

OJEE eligibility criteria vary for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The minimum eligibility to apply for various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes is:

  • The candidate must have completed Class 12 or any equivalent examination from a recognised board to apply for undergraduate courses
  • The candidate must hold a diploma or bachelor’s degree from a relevant stream to apply for lateral entry courses
  • The candidate must be a graduate in any relevant discipline from a recognised university

OJEE Admit card 2021

  • The authorities will release the Admit card online through the official website.
  • The candidates will be able to download the admit card by logging into their account on the portal.
  • Every candidate needs to download 2 copies of the admit card as one copy will be kept by the invigilator.
  • In case of any discrepancy with the admit card, the candidates may contact the OJEE 2021 office.

OJEE Syllabus for BPharm, BHMS and BAMS

The syllabus for these courses is standard. The questions will be based on various topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology (Botany and Zoology). The candidates will be given three hours to solve 180 Multiple Choice Questions.

 

OJEE Physics Syllabus (45 Questions)

All candidates who wish to pursue either of the three courses mentioned above, i.e., B. Pharm, BHMS, or BAMS, need to attempt the Physics section of the question paper mandatorily.

  1. Electricity and Magnetism:

Electric field intensity and Potential at a point in an electric field, Relation between them, Capacitance- dielectric constant, and its effect on capacitance. Series and parallel grouping of capacitances, Energy stored in a charged capacitor, Ohm’s law, Variation of resistance of metallic conductors with temperature, Kirchhoff’s laws, and its application to a balanced Wheatstone bridge. Combination of Cells and resistors- series and parallel. Heating effect of electric current and Joule’s law, Electric power, and electric energy. Open and closed organ pipes, the velocity of sound in air- effect of pressure, temperature, and humidity on it. Doppler Effect, laws of transverse vibration of string (Statement only).

  1. Electronic Devices:

Thermionic emission, Statement of Richardson’s equation and Child’s Law, Vacuum triode- construction and characteristics, Relationship between valve constants, Descriptive idea of energy bands:- conductors, insulators, and semiconductors, Intrinsic and extrinsic semiconductors, p-type and n-type semiconductors. PN junction, PNP and NPN transistor, PN Junction as a rectifier.

  1. Optics:

Reflection and refraction at curved surfaces. Spherical mirror and thin lens formula and refraction through a prism. Total internal reflection, Dispersion, Huygens principle (statement only), Young’s double-slit experiment.:

  1. Relativity and Nuclear Physics:

Postulates of the special theory of relativity, variation of mass with velocity (Statement only), mass-energy equivalence relation (Statement only).Atomic nucleus, nuclear forces, nuclear mass, binding energy, mass defect, artificial radioactivity, radioisotopes, and their uses. OJEE PGAT Syllabus 2021

Details for PGAT OJEE is given as below:

  • It is an offline exam that is conducted for a two-hour duration.
  • The question paper will have a total of 90 questions. The exam is conducted for M. Tech/ M. Arch programme.
  • It is conducted during Shift III of OJEE.

Note: Candidates have to answer questions based on the following topics:

  1. Analytical and Logical Reasoning– questions are based on the usage of systematic series based on mathematical procedures to conclude. Questions based on judgments, based on statements.
  1. Engineering Mathematics– there are questions based on various mathematical methods that are used in the engineering industry.

OJEE 2021 Result

The result for OJEE 2021 will be declared by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board (OJEEB) on the official website in the last week of July 2021. The candidates will be able to check their result on the official website, by entering their login credentials. Along with the scorecard, OJEEB will also release a merit list containing names of all the qualified candidates arranged in order of the rank which they have obtained.

OJEE Counselling 2021

The OJEE 2021 result will be announced on the official website, tentatively in the month of June, 2021. On the basis of merit, the state government of Odisha will organize the centralized counselling soon after. The candidates who have secured the cut off marks for OJEE 2021 will be able to register on the official website and start filling in their choices.

  • Purpose:OJEE 2021 counselling is being conducted for admission into different courses in the state of Odisha.
  • Selection of college and course:Candidates of OJEE 2021 have to fill the online application form in which they have to fill college or courses of their choice.
  • Payment:OJEE 2021 candidates also have to pay a non-refundable counselling fee of INR 450.
