SSC CGL Tier – I
SSC CGL Tier-I exam is an objective exam which will be conducted online. The exam comprises 4 sections having 25 questions in each section which will account for a total of 200 marks (maximum 50 marks in each section).

Points to remember
- There is negative marking in SSC CGL 2019-20 Tier 1 Exam. 0.5 marks will be deducted from every wrong question in all the sections.
- The exam duration is 80 minutes for candidates who are visually handicapped and suffering from Cerebral Palsy.

SSC CGL Syllabus for Tier III
The main objective of this Tier III exam is to evaluate the candidates’ language proficiency, grammar knowledge, vocabulary usage and writing skills in English or Hindi. The best way to prepare for this tier is to read lots of articles from various newspapers.
The questions are based on 10+2 level.
The exam is qualifying in nature. At least 33% should be scored by the candidate to qualify this particular tier, rest is dependent on cut-offs.
The topics for this exam can be related to current affairs and sensitive matters like- Demonetization, women empowerment, Terrorism, Right to equality, freedom of women in a country like India, etc.
Candidates need to write application, letters, essays, passages as a part of the qualification for this exam.
