It is significant to have an idea about the IB ACIO syllabus 2021 and exam pattern.
- There are three phases of the exam, Tier I, II, and III, the first two phases being the writing phases followed by the personal interview in the final round.
- Tier I is an objective-based paper whereas Tier II is descriptive.
- The sections of Tier I include General Studies, General Awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language.
- There is a negative marking of 0.25% for every incorrect answer in Tier I.
- To pass the Tier 2 exam, candidates are required to score at least 33% marks

IB ACIO 2021 Tier-1 Exam will be an online competitive examination consisting of 100 Objective type MCQs, divided into 5 parts containing 20 questions of 1 mark each. The candidate has to appear in Tier-I at one of the 3 centres allotted to him/her out of his choice of three cities.
