IBPS Regional Rural Banks Exam

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts Regional Rural Banks (RRB) examination for the selection of officers who will fill posts in nationalized rural banks across the country. The IBPS RRB exam promises a bright future for those who are embarking on their careers in banking and is one of the most awaited notifications among banking aspirants.

The IBPS RRB exam is conducted for recruitment to four different posts:

  • In the prelim’s exam, there is no English language section
  • Only two sections are available in the prelim’s exam- Reasoning and quantitative aptitude.
  • This is just a mini-exam, with a time duration of just 45 minutes.

IBPS PO 2021 Interview 

The candidate who has qualified for the mains is called for a face-to-face interview. The minimum qualifying mark is 40%. There is a relaxation for the SC/SC/OBC/PWD candidates. For these enlisted categories, the minimum mark is 35% marks.

The interview round usually runs 15 to 20 minutes where the board members ask questions related to personal life, academic life, work experience, banking field, Economic affairs as well as current affairs.

Also, the final result is according to the marks scored in Interview+ Mains, and they shall be calculated in a 20:80 ratio, respectively.

It is more important to display excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen during the IBPS PO Interview. The IBPS PO exam process is relatively short when compared to other competitive exams. Therefore, It makes it crucial that candidates do not get distracted during preparation of the exam.

Union Public Service Commission Central Armed Police Forces Exam

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the UPSC CAPF (AC) 2021 exam on 8th August 2021 to fill vacancies in Central Armed Police Force (CAPF).

All candidates who clear both the papers of UPSC CAPF 2021 will be eligible for the second round which will be a Physical Ability Test and Medical Test.

  • For each incorrect answer, 1/3rd of a mark will be deducted, i.e. (0.33).
  • If a candidate marks more than one answer for a question, it will be considered a wrong answer, and 1/3 of the marks will be deducted, regardless of whether one of the marked answers is correct.
  • There will be no deductions for a question that is left blank, i.e., the applicant does not mark an answer for that question.

It will test candidates’ general knowledge on issues of national and international importance relating to social, economic, and industrial development and Engineering Aptitude covering logical reasoning, analytical ability, mathematics, ethics, and values in the engineering profession.

  1. Paper-IIwill be of Civil/Mechanical/Electrical & Electronics and Telecommunication engineering.

  • The ESE Prelims exam consists of two Papers – General Studies & Engineering Aptitude and paper in respective branch of engineering
  • Paper I of General Studies contains 200 MCQs and Paper II of Engineering branch contains 300 MCQs
  • There is negative marking in ESE exam of 1/3rd marks for each wrong answer marked by candidates
  • Candidates who will clear this round will get selected for the next round of Mains examination
  • The number of candidates selected for the ESE Mains exam will be 6-7 times the total vacancies.

  • Candidates who will clear this round will get selected for the next round of Personality Test or Interview
  • Number of candidates selected for the Personality Test will be twice the number of total vacancies.

UPSC ESE Personality Test is of 200 marks.
