The Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has updated the TN TRB PG Assistant syllabus and TN TRB PG Assistant exam pattern on its official website. Candidates can directly download the TN TRB Assistant syllabus and exam pattern by visiting the website of the board.
The TN TRB PG Assistant selection process is conducted in two stages:
Computer-based Test– majorly includes the topics related to Education Methodology, General Knowledge, etc.
Certificate Verification
Candidates who qualify both the stages will be selected for the post.
As per the TN TRB PG Assistant exam pattern, the Computer-based Test is conducted for 150 Marks to be completed in 3 hours.

TN TRB 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who are willing to appear for the exam should have to satisfy all the eligibility criteria. Candidates should go through the below-given eligibility criteria thoroughly before applying the application form.
Age Limit
At applying for the examination, the candidate’s age must be between 22 and 57 years as of July 1, 2020.
Educational Qualification
Lecturer in Engineering subjects
A bachelor degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology with not less 60%. if the candidate has a Master’s degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology, the candidate should have passed with first class or equivalent in the appropriate branch either at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level.
Lecturer in Non-Engineering subjects
A first-class master’s degree in the appropriate branch of study.
The selected candidates for Polytechnic lecturer jobs will have a salary slab of INR 15,600 to 39,100 along with grade pay of INR 5,400.
