Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test (TISSNET) is conducted by Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. It is 1 hour and 40 minutes paper.
The exam is conducted for all Masters programmes offered in TISS campuses at Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati, IMHST Chennai, MHAT Calicut and G-SET Ranchi. It offers admission into courses like M.A./ M.Sc./ M.P.H./ M.H.A./MBA-HR.
Those who will qualify the written examination, will be called for the Pre-Interview Test and will finally go through the Personal Interview round.

TISSNET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
In order to fulfil the eligible criteria, candidate needs to fulfil the below mentioned criteria:
Qualification
- All candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree course with at least 50% marks of 3 to 4 years duration from a university recognized by the government.
- All candidates must have education of 10+2+3/4. Candidates who have studied more than undergraduate degree are also eligible for application.
- All candidates must have completed their undergraduate degree on or before June 11, 2021.
Age
- All candidates must be authorized citizens of India and at least 21 years before the exam. There is no upper age limit.
TISSNET 2022 Exam Pattern
- The duration of the TISSNET Exam will be 1 hour & 40 minutes.
- There is no negative making which means no marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
- It is an online or computer-based test which will contain a total of 100 objective type/ multiple choice questions.
- The questions will be asked from General Awareness, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and English Proficiency

TISSNET Syllabus 2022
TISSNET 2022 Exam will consist of three sections – General Awareness, Language skills and Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation. The overall test duration of the exam will be of 100 minutes and the exam is conducted online. There will be an individual sectional cut off in TISSNET for the GK section.

TISSNET 2022 Pre-Interview Test
The TISSNET 2022 pre-interview test will be held on different campuses.
The 2022 pre-interview test of TISSNET consists primarily of two parts, essay writing and short case letters. Only those applicants who have qualified for the TISSNET 2022 entrance test and filled out the TISSNET PIT / PI application form before the scheduled timeline will be permitted to show up on the pre-interview test.
The first round of TISSNET Pre Interview will take place at TISS Mumbai, while the second round will take place at the respective campuses in Hyderabad, Guwahati and Mumbai. Applicants shortlisted after the TISSNET 2022 Pre-Interview Test/ Group Discussion need to fill out an online application. Applicants belonging to the category SC/ ST are qualified for Govt. of India’s Post Matric Scholarship programme.
TISSNET 2022 Personal Interview
The TISSNET 2022 Personal Interview will take place at various TISS campuses. After the pre interview test, the personal interview round will be performed. Applicants will be asked questions concerning to the applicable programmes during the TISSNET 2022 personal interview round.

TISSNET Result 2022
The results of TISSNET 2022 are declared in the initial week of February 2022 by on-line mode. TISS releases the results in the form of a scorecard. The candidate will access the admit card by getting into their email id and word.
Applicants are shortlisted for the next rounds, namely the Pre-Interview Test (PIT) and Personal Interview (PI), and also written tests, based on TISSNET results. These rounds will take place across Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Guwahati on the TISS campuses
Steps to check the Result for TISSNET 2022
- Go to the TISS official website.
- Now, find and click on the “Admissions” tab.
- After that select the “TISSNET Result” link.
- On the window, a login screen will appear.
- Provide the email ID and password created during the registration process.
- Finally, the scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
- Now, Download the TISSNET scorecard and take the printout of it.
