Tolani Maritime Institute Science Aptitude Test or TMI SAT 2021 is conducted by Tolani Maritime Institute. It is an entrance test for the candidates seeking admission into B.Tech courses in the field of Marine Engineering and Nautical Technology.
Candidates have to appear for IMU CET 2021 before TMI SAT as the Registration number of IMU CET is used as a reference to fill the form of TMI SAT 2022.
It is an online test with 80 questions in four sections and a behavioural assessment. The exam will have a multiple-choice format covering Physics, Mathematics, Analytical and Logical Reasoning.

TMISAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to apply for TMISAT 2021 must ensure that they fulfil the following eligibility criteria for admission in B.Tech. Marine Engineering degree and B.Sc Nautical Science programmes at Tolani Maritime Institute:
Age Limit
Minimum age of the candidate to apply for TMISAT 2021 should be 17 years.
- For Male Candidates – Candidate should be born on or after September 01, 2000.
- For Female Candidates – Candidate should be born on or after September 01, 1998. 2 years age relaxation for female candidates
Academic Qualifications
- Only unmarried candidates are eligible.
- They must have qualified IMUCET.
- Candidate should have passed Class (10+2) or its equivalent.
- Should have passed Class 10+2 or its equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and should have obtained at least 60% marks.
- The candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII

TMISAT 2021 Selection Process
Tolani Maritime Institute’s selection process will test candidates on each of the above parameters by taking into account a candidate’s 10+2 PCM marks, rank in IMUCET, the result of the TMI online entrance exam, performance in an interview, and satisfactory medical tests.

TMI SAT 2021 will allow candidates to take admission into three courses, those are:
- B. Tech specialization is Marine Engineering for a duration of 4 years.
- B.Sc. under Nautical Science for a duration of 4 years.
- Diploma under Nautical Science for a duration of 1.5 years.
