Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TSTET), is a state- level examination conducted by the Department of School Education, Telangana. This is a body set up by the Government of Telangana to recruit teachers who are qualified and well educated to teach in any Government or Private school in Telangana. This exam is conducted once a year.

This exam is divided into two papers:
- Paper 1 is for candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 5
- Paper 2 is for candidates who want to teach classes 6 to 8

The TS TET Paper 1 Exam is for candidates who will be recruited as teachers for classes from 1 to 5 in the state of Telangana.
